FOR THE WEEK-END

Can't think of better inspiration for the week-end than Courtney Love's dress, which is actually a chemise de nuit. It's comfortable, sexy and definitely cool. Wear it with flat sandals or Converse shoes and don't forget to put on some jewelry, otherwise you will actually look as if you just came out of bed - or going to bed. If you think it's too revealing, finish the look with an army style shirt.

Here are some chemises, I mean dresses, I selected for you:

1. Elle Macpherson Black Chemise with white lace
2. La Perla - trimmed silk - blend satin chemise
3. Elle Macpherson White chemise
4. Kiki de Montparnasse - black chemise
5. Calvin Klein purple chemise

FUEL FIRE

Grunge made a subtle come back in fashion, this time as a sleeker and more stylish trend. Don't be afraid to play with layers and mix different prints and textures. The more you think it doesn't match, the better it looks. After all it's what grunge was famous for!

Selina is wearing Scared Off shorts, Predator Leggings, Prey Dress from 109. Shirts, beanies and boots from H&M, crop top and skirt from Mango, vest and sunglasses - vintage.

Here are a couple of pics from last Sunday, when we shot some grunge inspired looks in the skatepark. I'm excited how the actual photos turned out and I can't wait to share them with you!

The model is wearing Prey Dress and Predator Leggings from 109's Les Vampires S/S 13 collection, beanie, shirt and shoes from H&M, vintage sunglasses.

CANADIAN TUXEDO

My fascination for matching denim shirts with jeans started somewhere in 2010 when I bought my first denim shirt. I clearly remember why I got for: it was meant to match, at the time, my brand new beige harem pants.   It took a while to find the perfect blue wash and shape, but in the end I got an oversized light blue shirt. As for the denim-on-denim mania, it started by accident, during one of those "I-don't-know-what-to-wear" moments when you just grab the first thing you see from the closet. Even though the fashion rules were stricly against the "canadian tuxedo", the combination felt cool and comfortable. It had the je ne sais quoi feel, so I thought - "It can't be wrong".

After three years, now I have a closet full of denim, and as I promised, I'm challenging Miss Britney for a "Who wore it better" duel:

As for the rules for wearing denim on denim without looking too retro, it's easy: you need to find a shirt and jeans that have a similar wash. If you're afraid you're gonna get it  wrong you can just wear a blue denim shirt with black or white jeans.

SWEATPANTS AND HIGH HEELS

I'm looking for a pair of sweatpants that will look super cool with high heels. What do you think about this trend - is it funky or is it just too much?

TREND CHALLENGE: GRUNGE

The grunge trend seen this season at Dries Van Noten, Alexander Wang and Rodarte.

A layer on top of a layer on top of another layer and so on. That's the key to a good grunge inspired outfit. Also keeping the outfit chic and stylish will be a must. You wouldn't want to look as if you took the time machine back in '94 and ended up in 2013.

I'm wearing a Kookai coat, Mango denim jacket, and an H&M bag and shirt (find a similar one here).
