It's a rainy gloomy day in Bucharest and all I can think of is finding the perfect summer destination that includes cristal clear water, palm trees and tropical cocktails with colorful umbrellas. Question is, where to go?

THE PIN-UP CHALLENGE
Yesterday Stylecorner.ro asked a few bloggers to style a look based on the pin-up trend for the Women for Women vintage fashion fair. Truth is, pin-up was never a part of my style, so I wanted to create an outfit that will be inspired from it, but at the same time still look like me. I paired a pencil skirt from Mango in snake print (which is very in this season) with a crop top from H&M (also a must-have for Spring-Summer 2013) and a leather jacket. I wanted to do a simple, modern, elegant look with a pin-up influence, that you can easily wear today.
Thank you Stylecorner for inviting me!

LESFILLESFLORISSANTES
Lesfillesflorissantes is the new accessories line from the Romanian brand LaChatterie. It's presented as an Instagram project and everyday a new lovely lady gets to wear a different headband from the collection. I was happy to be involved in this amazing project and I have to thank Isabelle for this! You can find more pictures on their official Instagram page @lesfillesflorissantes

FUN TIMES
Saturday night is always a good excuse to dress up and have some fun, no matter what you decide to do: go for a movie, a quiet dinner, or a crazy party. I spent some nice moments with my friends and got to wear something different than my everyday winter outfits (usually sweaters and jeans). Since my fascination for 90s fashion just started, I felt like trying on again the skirt on top of jeans and this was the result - a practical outfit for cold weather!

RESTAURACJA U KUCHARZY
"Tonight, we'll just eat in the kitchen!"
I wanted to write about this restaurant in Warsaw for a while now, but never had the time to do it. But before that, I want to share with you a secret: When I travel I like to do two things: eat and eat more! I turn into a gourmande and nothing gives me more pleasure than a delicious cooked meal. Yes, not even a shopping spree!
So before my trip to Warsaw I did my research and found this cool place with an open kitchen. "Open kitchen?! Oh la la!! That should be interesting!" I thought. Two words were enough to get my attention and the second I got there I started asking people about it. Apparently it was a popular place among both tourists and locals.
Located in the old kitchen of Hotel Europejski, the restaurant has an actual open kitchen, with white cracked tiles, bare walls, simple furniture and not so very clean tablecloths. The whole concept of the place is to look like the kitchen you always feared a restaurant could have - a bit dirty and messy. Don't get me wrong, it is clean enough, just not impeccably clean. When you enter the building there's an old fashioned bar , a cloakroom and a small hall of fame (Woody Allen and John Malkovich ate there). You go inside the restaurant through a corridor, passing by the fish room and the salad room. The best place to get a table is in the main room where you can get a clear view of the big kitchen. And if you're lucky enough, you can find a table even without reservation.
When I got there, it was quite late, so the place was almost empty, with just a few customers left. You could tell it was posh restaurant, so I suggest if you go there, you might want to put a little effort and dress up. I actually felt a bit underdressed, but I like to give myself the excuse that I was a tourist. The atmosphere was unique, an old guy playing the piano, while the chef was preparing the food in front of us and inside the kitchen they already started preparing for the next day.
The menu is pretty limited, they serve just a few types of dishes, mainly traditional polish food. I ended up choosing some beef in paprika sauce. No matter what you decide to order, you should try the steak tartare, which is freshly minced in front of you. I heard it's the best in town and I can confirm it was extremely good!

INSTAWEEK
Yes it's an Instaweek post, because I had no time to update the blog. This week I've been super busy, working on interesting projects with Miruna and Adina. I'm excited to share with you the final results, but you will have to be a little bit patient. Until then, you can follow me on Instagram @thestunninglook for more frequent updates. Tomorrow we'll be back in the studio!

WEDEL CHOCOLATE STORE
Wedel is probably the sweetest place in Warsaw. Over a century ago Emil Wedel, made the controversial decision to build his own house in the centre of Warsaw and turn it into a chocolate factory and lounge, while on the facade overlooking the busy street he opened his own chocolate store. The place instantly became trendy because of its delicious chocolate products. 150 years later, it hasn't lost its popularity or quality.
A lot of city guides advised tourists to try the breakfast and hot chocolate at Wedel, so I couldn't miss it! Heaven for chocoholics, Wedel gathers all kind of customers: from trendy women meeting for business (I even spotted some ladies presenting their fashion designs to probably some buyer), to students having a sweet break from University, to old chic women catching up over a cup of hot chocolate.
Once you sit on a table and open the menu, you are tempted to try all sorts of bombons, cakes and chocolate drinks. It took me a long time to decide, but in the end I chose the breakfast menu recommended by the city guide. It was a very sweet decision!

BARCELONA - MERCAT DE LA BOQUERIA
WARNING! The following images may cause excessive drooling! (Don't worry, they are calories free!)
This place made me feel like I want to try even those sexy pig legs. I might consider a career change too. Anyone looking for a food critic? My area of expertise is paella!

GARDEN PARTY
Yesterday I got invited to Andra Andreescu's "Secrets of the garden" party. I don't share secrets, but this time I'll make an exception - There were some really nice dresses, pretty jewelry and a fashionable crowd (shhh -don't tell anyone, it's a secret, ok?)
As all of you, I had the big dilemma - a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear! Sounds familiar? What should I wear? The question haunted me for a couple of minutes, when suddenly, I remembered seeing these light pink cigarette pants at H&M. I got to the store and jackpot! There they were, the last lonely pair waiting for me to buy them.
I wore a 90's - Hit me baby one more time inspired outfit. I didn't have the time to properly shoot it, but I hope soon you will get to see some nice pictures.. It's a surprise!
Kisses to all of you! I'm off to the office !
PS- Don't forget to vote for me here! I need your help in order to win! Thanks :)

INSTAFREAK!
Oh my! I can't stop using/checking every 15 minutes Instagram..Yes..You heard me! It's damn addictive! Can someone please stop me!! (or not). Probably it's the most fun application ever invented. Fun and scary at the same time, because you get a glimpse on someone else's life.
Long story short, this was my week in Instagram - shooting with Miruna from Fotograful Tau, for which Adina did a wonderful make-up (check the photo on the right with the smokey eyes), then it was the vintage fair, then re-organizing my wardrobe..and some other experimental/artistic photos.
Now time for some shopping!
Toodles!
