TEST SHOTS PART 2

Last week between work and events, I ran to the studio to help Vlad with some test shots. No hairstyling, no make-up, just some basic clothing and the rest it's all thanks to Vlad's creative vision and Andra's natural beauty.

The models is wearing a crop top from Mango, a white shirt from H&M Fall 2012 Collection and her own skirt.

TEST SHOTS

Here are some of the agency test shots we did last month. The clothes are all from H&M Man, except for the bag and shoes. Styling men's clothes is a completely new territory for me, but I'll definitely do it again with the next occasion.

FUEL FIRE

Grunge made a subtle come back in fashion, this time as a sleeker and more stylish trend. Don't be afraid to play with layers and mix different prints and textures. The more you think it doesn't match, the better it looks. After all it's what grunge was famous for!

Selina is wearing Scared Off shorts, Predator Leggings, Prey Dress from 109. Shirts, beanies and boots from H&M, crop top and skirt from Mango, vest and sunglasses - vintage.

LIKE A BOY

There's something incredibly seductive about men's fashion. Boyfriend jeans, shirts or T-shirts, they look so cool if you know how to wear them.

The key to style menswear clothes is to have a good balance between the feminine and the masculine pieces. Choose wisely and if you feel your look is too boyish, make it more feminine, by adding a pair of high heels. It always works, no matter what you wear.

The jeans, the T-shirt and the white top are from H&M Man.

You can find all the clothes and accessories I used for styling this editorial at H&M and H&M Man (except from the sandals, which are from Zara's last season collection).

TEENAGE DREAM

Young, free-spirited and misunderstood - Jenny Humphrey, the Gossip Girl rebellious character, was the inspiration for our small fashion editorial. I styled three looks, using a lot of accessories and embellished garments, in order to get that bohemian glamorous style.

All clothes are from H&M, except for the black French Connection dress in the first photo.

WHO'S THAT GIRL?

Inspired by Madonna, the ultimate style icon of the 80s, we wanted to create a bold and seductive look combining a strong make-up with a modern wardrobe. The color blocking shirt and trousers capture without a doubt the pajama trend gracefully, while the black fishnet top is a strong reminder of the 80s fashion.

LOOKBOOK FOR AVA PRECUB DESIGN

Last month I was happy to work with the team on this project for the lookbook for Ava Precub Design. We wanted to create fresh colorful looks, but at the same time very clean and modern. We chose to do a fishtail braid for the hair and a make-up with hot pinks lips, I'm sure Adina can tell you more about it. As for the styling, here I decided to pair the V neck blouse with the structured skirt and to give it a more wow effect I used a pair of colorful shoes.

Ava recently launched her website and you can see more of her designs here.

LUCKY NO 13

Don't open an umbrella inside, don't walk under a ladder and make sure no black cat will cross your path! Last year Cosmopolitan threw a Superstition Theme Party for their 13th anniversary here in Romania. The entire club was decorated with ladders, broken mirrors, black cats and opened umbrellas and we thought it would be a fun set for a photoshoot.

I wore a Kate Moss inspired outfit, a simple black dress from French Connection and black pointy toe shoes - a perfect party look for a Saturday night !

THE RUSSIAN SPY

I know you probably don't want to see any more winter looks with fur, coats and boots, but I forgot to show you this small improvised editorial we did after shooting the Masculine vs Feminine looks. Miruna and Adina were inspired by Corina's red flamy hair and blue eyes and came up with the idea of turning her into a mysterious russian spy. Now looking at the photos I can clearly see her playing one of the Bond girls in the next James Bond movie.
