THE RUSSIAN SPY

I know you probably don't want to see any more winter looks with fur, coats and boots, but I forgot to show you this small improvised editorial we did after shooting the Masculine vs Feminine looks. Miruna and Adina were inspired by Corina's red flamy hair and blue eyes and came up with the idea of turning her into a mysterious russian spy. Now looking at the photos I can clearly see her playing one of the Bond girls in the next James Bond movie.

HOT PINK

Last season it was all about burgundy lips, but now hot pink took over the fashion world. I'm not a big fan of pink, but I have to agree it has a certain fresh and fun vibe. So hurry up and change your boring red lipstick with a hot pink one!

BLOSSOMED BEAUTY

A few weeks ago Miruna, Adina and I worked together on this beauty editorial. We were initially inspired by  Lana del Rey and Jean Shrimpton, from which we took some elements like the flower crown, the buttoned up shirt, the perfectly styled curls, the eyeliner make-up. In the end it had no "blue jeans" and "broken hearts" in it, on the contrary, it had a bright and posivite vibe as if spring is just around the corner.

60s FLASHBACK

"What about a 60's inspired photoshoot? I asked the girls, "Can we do that?" The idea seemed exciting for all of us - Adina wanted to do a Twiggy make-up, Miruna said she can help us with the shoot and I've been a 60's fan since I can remember. 

I had three iconic women in mind: Edie, Audrey and Twiggy. In the end, it turned out to be a mix between them: I got inspired by some photos with Edie in black and white, I wore the black turtleneck Audrey used to have and of course, the extravagant Twiggy make-up. 

I'm wearing a turtleneck from Zara, pants and shoes from H&M, vintage bracelet.

Yesterday I got to shoot some really cool outfits for the blog, so stick around, because you will get to see them pretty soon! Until then, I'm off for a couple of days!

MAKE-UP, FALSE EYELASHES AND MORE MAKE-UP

Or some kick-ass false eyelashes, in this case. For a long time I wanted to do a 60's inspired photo shoot and finally I had the chance to do it thanks to Miruna and Adina. The pictures will be up soon, but before that I wanted to show you guys a sneak peek.

I also did some research on cosmetics. You all know Twiggy made the childish and boyish look popular by wearing a pale make-up and short hair. What were essential for this look? False eyelashes! The more, the better. I discovered the first ones were created in 1916 for an American actress, Seena Owen. Apparently the movie director D.W. Griffith, wanted her to have an extraordinary look. A wig-maker created the first falsies, so long that they touched her cheeks when she was blinking. However, only some decades later these became a fashion essential. Twiggy, Sophia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor are just a few of the stars who helped making them popular.

No one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they had plenty of sleep.

It's summer, it's hot, why waste time sleeping? So, I thought of doing a series of photos with some going out/party till the morning outfits (prepare for more!). 

And what better outfit for these summer nights than a white pair of palazzo pants! What I love about them is that they will always look sofisticated . This time, I chose to wear the pants with a mint top,   

and added some bracelets for the final touch!

SHOOTING FOR AMELIE.RO

A while ago, the Amelie.ro team shot these pictures for the website. It was cool to see myself looking different than I usually do. I never put this much make-up (though my eyes look wicked) or style my hair. Probably this is the fun part of modelling: they turn you into a complete different person!
