THE PARKA

Two years ago I was obsessed with an outfit Kate Lanphear wore for Paris Fashion Week: a parka with a huge hood and underneath a leather jacket, a denim jacket, and a T-shirt. Yes, a lot of jackets, but the final look was very, as I like to call it,  "cool a la Kate". 

I bought mine also two years ago from Mango. The best thing about it (and something you can't see in the pictures) is that you can wear it in autumn and winter. It has like an extra vest that you attach it to the actual coat to make it fit for cold weather. Even though it's a casual coat, it looks best with high heels and a sequin dress or just something elegant.( See how Teodora from The Vanity Cover wore it). I mixed it with a vintage lace top and black skinny jeans. As for a contrast I added some pearls.
